There are many issues that could lead to a wet basement.
Ground water is the most common problem
Occurs when soil around your foundation becomes saturated with water causing hydrostatic pressure, or pressure that forces water through cracks and joints where the floor and walls meet, against the walls of your basement. Concrete block walls will absorb the water and fill up, eventually causing paint bubbling and discoloration of walls.
Lack of down spout extensions
Poor grading around foundation
Poor window well installations
Water coming over the top of a wall due to siding or brick application
How we solve the problem:
Interior Waterproofing Systems
Tile System: A tile system is installed under the basement floor and provides a superior method for controlling a water problem.
Channeling System: Mounting a channel where the floor and wall meet which connects to your tile system.
Exterior Waterproofing Systems
Used only when there are severe problems with the walls or if you do not want to disrupt your current interior finishes. This is not required very often and is more expensive than interior waterproofing systems.
We provide the most non-evasive and cost-efficient solutions for you. We are a grade above the rest when it comes to basement waterproofing and landscape restoration.
